These are not only vegan, but are gluten-free and guilt-free as well! When I first baked this, I honestly couldn’t have enough. These are moist on the inside but crisp on the edges. And what could go wrong with a chocolate dessert that has chocolate chips?This recipe is the perfect dessert for when you have guests at home.

Or you can have it all to yourself, it’s really all up to you. Drink some tea and have one or two. Repeat the next day.

Ingredients:

Base (resembles banana bread)

  • 2 cups coconut flour
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 flax “egg”
  • 3 bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of cinnamon

Peanut butter layer

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup pure cane icing sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

Chocolate top layer

  • 3/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup pure cane icing sugar

Instructions:

Base

  1. Pre-heat the oven at 200 degree Celsius.
  2. Combine all the base ingredients until it makes a moist but fluffy texture.
  3. Pour onto a lightly greased baking tray and level. Bake the banana bread mixture for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Set aside to let cool down.

Peanut butter layer

  1. Combine all peanut butter layer ingredients until it makes a frosting-like texture.
  2. Spread on top of banana bread. Set aside.

Chocolate top layer

  1. Combine all chocolate top layer ingredients until it makes a syrup-like consistency.
  2. Pour on top of peanut butter frosting then top with chocolate chips.
  3. Cut into squares and serve.
